Meet the business support team

Business Support are a busy team of five providing essential business and administration support to the five network teams and senior leadership team.

Tracie heads up the Business Support Team, responsible for overseeing the business function and providing support to the senior leadership team.

Tracie joined the NHS in 1999 and has worked in a variety of secondary care and primary care settings including NHS improvement in the Primary Care Collaborative. She has a strong project and programme management background and has developed expertise in reducing health inequalities across the region, particularly in the field of learning disabilities.

Tracie has achieved several awards for a key piece of work she has delivered over recent years and, as a result of that work and interest, went on to obtain a Masters in Developing Professional Practice.

In her spare time Tracie spends as much time as she can with her horses (Jack and Maverick) and her dogs (Zennah and Noodles) enjoying the outdoors.

Lucy’s colleagues know her as a cheerful, sociable team member and a pivotal presence for Business Support needs and general administration of the office.

She has a BSc in Environmental Sciences and a diverse professional background including environmental surveying, police disclosure, victim support, hands-on healthcare and office administration.

Debbie has worked in the NHS since 1991 in a variety of administrative roles. She joined the Cancer Network in 2008 and subsequently had roles within kidney care and CVD.

She currently leads on finance and event management for the Network.

Dan recently started working with us in the Business Support Team, having previously worked as an apprentice at the North West Coast Innovation Agency.

His role in the Business Support team is key to ensuring the wider team is always supported. He is based at Vanguard House and provides administrative support, as well as attending network events across our wider geographical footprint, supporting with social media engagement.

Dan is a very keen business student with a particular interest in organisational behaviours and business management and is currently studying this one day a week at college.

Farida joins us from her previous role within the NHS supporting the two week rule Cancer team and working within the NICE Guidelines.

Prior to that she worked with young people in the community on behalf of Lancashire County Council  as well as within housing administration.

In her spare time she enjoys hiking and planning her next holiday.
