These symptom control guidelines remain valid, despite the current review date of March 2016.  The guideline can be downloaded by clicking on the image.

New guidelines are being developed and will be issued by March 2017. 

Please consult local specialist palliative care services for support if needed.

Would you like to work across Lancashire and South Cumbria on a time limited project looking at how to embed the revised network palliative and end of life guidelines? 

We are looking for a high calibre clinician who is able to work with a wide range of health and social care professionals to finalise draft guidelines and then work with localities to develop and support education strategies and dissemination plans. 

You will need to have excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills, be able to work independently and have reasonable IT skills.
