Friday 10th July 2015
9:30am - 4:00pm

Main Contact:

CAMHS_-_SAVE_THE_DATE_FLYER_pic.jpgThe development of Intensive Intervention Services to avoid unnecessary admissions to in-patient care away from home is a concern for Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and in-patient CAMHS providers as well as Commissioners. The development of such ‘home treatment’ services is also recommended in the CAMHS National Task Force ‘Future in Mind’ report.

We will share the experience of CAMHS in-patient providers and commissioners as well as the learning from early adopters of ‘Tier 3.5’ intensive intervention services and co-commissioning pilots. We will also learn from the experience of Adult Mental Health Services and from Multi-Systemic Therapy in providing in providing similar services over many years.

Who should attend

CAMHS provider managers, senior clinicians and CAMHS commissioners.
