Invitation to jointly host this year’s National Transition conference

26th January 2018

Transition_conference_image.jpgFollowing the success of last year’s Transition Conference, Alder Hey are looking for partners to jointly host, plan and fund this year’s conference, to be held on 29th June 2018.

Funding secured last year allowed delegates to attend free of charge, so encouraging a wide and diverse audience from across all sectors – and the organisers are keen to build on this success for the 2018 event.

The 2018 Transition Conference will focus on how joined-up working with education and social care benefits young people through Transition. Alder Hey Transition Service Nurse Lead, Jacqui Rogers says: “Working more collaboratively and joining up the ‘gaps’ between Health, Social Care, Education and the third sector, we have the opportunity of delivering a fantastic joined-up, multi-agency event in 2018.”

By providing sponsorship of £500, each event partner will have the opportunity to help develop the conference programme and recommend or put forward speakers. Their logo will be included on all the event materials and they will receive 20 free delegates places, available before the event is promoted on Event Brite.
